V300 Prescribing Placement & Practice Assessor Support

Advance your prescribing journey with structured clinical supervision and expert guidance at Younique Aesthetics Clinic, Newry. Our V300 placement pathway is designed to support students throughout every stage of their prescribing qualification with hands-on clinical experience, mentorship, and personalised support.

Led by Clinical Director Áine Larkin MSc (CosMed), PGCert (MedEd), RGN, ALNP, INP, students gain valuable real-world experience through supervised consultations, patient assessments, prescribing practice, and portfolio guidance.

Placement Journey

1. Application & University Acceptance
Meet with Áine to discuss the process, expectations, and university application requirements.

2. Initial Planning Meeting
Once accepted onto your university course, you will meet to plan your placement structure, supervision hours, and portfolio expectations.

3. Clinical Practice Hours
Complete supervised clinical hours within Younique Aesthetics Clinic while developing confidence in consultations, patient care, and prescribing practice.

4. Mid-Way Review
A progress review will take place halfway through your placement to assess development, review portfolio progress, and prepare for your OSCE.

5. Final Review & OSCE Support
Following completion of your hours, students will complete their final review and receive support ahead of their OSCE assessment.

Package Options

Basic Package – £1,600
Includes 45 hours of clinical supervision in our Newry clinic. Students source the remaining supervisory hours independently.

Basic Package + Modules – £2,000
Includes 45 hours of clinical supervision plus additional learning modules equating to 30 hours.

Structured Support Package – £2,200
Includes modules and all required supervisory hours for a more complete supported pathway.

Important Information

• Students must complete 90 hours of practice supervision in total
• Placements can take up to 6 months to complete
• All placement discussions and documentation must be recorded within the university portfolio
• Proof of a confirmed university place is required before starting the V300 placement pathway
