Level 4 Laser and IPL Course: Edie Connors

I have completed the Level 4 Course in Laser and IPL at Younique Aesthetics Academy. It was a 7 week all-inclusive course (one day per week). The first two weeks were theory online and the last 5 weeks were practical training and assessments in Newry. I absolutely adored it! My tutor was Catherine who was an incredible teacher. I have gained so much confidence in the practical treatments. I did treatments on every area of the body so I feel equipped to go out into the industry and start working. It was the perfect course length for me. There are so many short 1-day courses out there that lack substance and there isn’t the same amount of time to practice. I gained so much from the academic side of this course with Younique Aesthetics Academy, as well as having ample time to practice with the machinery. I would recommend this course so highly, and I really enjoyed it!

Mentorship Programme and Level 7 in Clinical Injectables: Emma Skeehan

I recently attended a week-long mentorship programme on Botox and Dermal Filler techniques in the three main areas, and it was an outstanding experience. We had the opportunity to practice on 30 live models for both Botox and Dermal Filler, starting from day one. The programme covered the background of each treatment, as well as the necessary skills and potential side effects. Our medical educator, Aine was knowledgeable and supportive, providing personalised guidance throughout. This programme has equipped me with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in my practice. Highly recommended!

Level 4 Skin Needling Course: Tanya Purvis

Wow! an amazing experience from start to finish. I attended the Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling. The course had a great balance of online and practical hands-on training for therapists. I completed the theory classes online over 4 weeks and once you have gained the knowledge it’s time for you to attend the academy for practical training and assessments for a further 8 weeks. The assessment methodology used is varied with this course; assignments and an online multiple-choice test set by ITEC to cover the underpinning knowledge. The bit all us therapists love is the practical. This aspect is amazing! Great to be in the clinical environment with real clients supplied by the Aesthetics Academy. Nothing beats the hands-on training. A special shout out to Catherine who is a knowledgeable and passionate Practitioner and Teacher. Catherine is supportive, professional, and very approachable. Catherine helps you work towards the deadlines of the course and is extremely clear and constructive in her feedback to ensure you reach your potential. Look forward to attending Level 5.
